Photography is one of the most celebrated arts. It may be because it is an accessible art that it keeps people interested. While anyone can take a picture not everyone has the “eye” that it takes to turn a photograph into a work of art.
This year November 8-16th is set to be a week of celebrating this art to the fullest in the nation’s capital. There is a full menu of events to encourage people to participate in recognizing this amazing medium that has played a huge role in shaping the world.
